Job Seekers Services

Resource Area:

Access to Internet job search sites, nationwide computerized job bank, self-directed PC based software applications for resume development, labor market information, career exploration materials, assessments, and other employment related services such as fax, phones, and photocopying.

Workshops:

Variety of workshops covering topics such as resume development, interviewing techniques, job search transition, salary negotiations and networking for unemployed professionals.

Access to Occupational and Skills Training: The North Shore Career Centers assist eligible individuals to access occupational and skills training courses. Contact any of the three centers for details.

Assessment Tools:

Assistance for individuals in career transition to help identify skills, interest, values and other factors as you choose a career. 

Job Specialists: Skilled and professional Job Specialists match job seekers with appropriate job openings.  Assistance in identifying job leads and help in finding the right career match.

Interview Sessions: an opportunity to explore career options, make valuable contacts and obtain job leads.

Disability Navigator Programs: Employment resources for customers with Disabilities.
